What exactly do you mean by scaling objects? I'm not aware of something that you can achieve in the Vanilla interface that you can't achieve in Extended.
@LiamG
patch is easier to understand when I take this opportunity. I use it in triggers.
Can I learn how to correctly translate into English what I had in mind?
@Dots Not really, but you can get something similar with font size.......
4.fonts.pd
You probably need to click [menufont( and then close that window before it will work, and I can't remember whether it is persistant when you re-open the patch, but probably not......
David.
It's worth mentioning that PD L2ORK has this functionality, and has most of the extended libraries.
It's also worth mentioning that there's the deken-plugin for vanilla (works in extended too, but it's rather pointless there) with which one can very easily install external libraries in Pd-vanilla. So you can consider switching to vanilla (anyway extended is now officially clinically dead) and use the plugin for the externals you want and have this vanilla feature you're after (plus some new features included in vanilla which are the [array] and [text] objects, plus [oscformat] and [oscparse] for OSC).
And also worth mentioning, that you could extend vanilla with extended features. Easiest probably with deken
EDIT: ups too slow, sorry
Oops! Looks like something went wrong!
