    First of all, thanks everyone! Yu are always so kind in taking the time to answer absolutely everything.
    Now let me apologize because I was not very clear on my original post, so here are some corrections and explanations:

    • What I'm curious about is if there's any other Pd flavour (or plugin) that will offer the same as Plugdata, which is the ability to bend the cords in order to avoid the almos unavoidable crossing of cords over objects.
    • I don't care that much about cords curving or not, either is fine to me.
    • The obvious loop is, or at elast was soposed to be, just a joke (-;

    @porres
    Heard that as well.... as I said: Not in a hurry (;

    Is there a way to achieve the "segmented cords" as shown in the figure below?
    I'm using Plugdata, of course, but I would like to know if one can do that in vanilla Pd with some type of external/plugin.

    Thanks!

    I am not a programmer either, but other people on the forum will be able to help you.

    Thank you very much! There is a lot of new things to learn in Pd and I'm just now starting tu understand "from where what is coming from" (-;
    I'm using Mac OS for the same accessibility reasons, but I will take a look at what you did and try to port it the best I can.
    I've "heard a rumor" that 0.56 might come with some options to make the GUI customisation a little easier. Untill then, I will try my best.
    The Pd community is in deed very helpful. So much so that I have a pile of bookmarks to read so big that 2025 is looking like a fun fun time to come!
    Once again, thanks for the info, have a nice day!

    @oid
    I was "just a musician" looking for a way to get closer to the source of the sound... now I'm "paying the price" hehehe... a lot to learn! But it's good! I love learning new things.
    About the screenshot, I can manage with my accessibility tools, don't worry about it. I appreciate the human aspect though, thanks!

    Give a read through the help files for messages and graphical arrays.

    I shall... it's a lot of details to read, test and understand, but I'll get there soon enough (;
    THanks

    No issues at all here, just dropping some lines to register how easy is to use this forum, such a clean UI and the text editor is just delicious.
    Congratulations to whoever did it this way.

    I'm reading the Pd manual (it's great!) and I've found a link pointing to a page that does not exist anymore on that URL, even though the page itself still exists (talking about the Pd mailing list).
    How can I notify the person responsible for the manual so they can fix it?

    Pd is my first open source piece of software and I'm still learning how to do things, so any advice will be gladly received.

    @oid That is good to know. I will try it later today.
    Do you know if I can use a variable for the array size message? Something like: array size $1
    I'm running faster than I can read the manual, so there is a lot of gaps inside my brain right now (;
    Thanks!

    @jameslo wow, your idea is so much better than mine hehehe

    I'm still learning the basics of Pd and signal processing, so I haven't installed Gem or other externals yet, just using the pure vanilla until I understand it.
    I downloaded your patch and bookmarked this thread for easy future reference.
    Thank you very much!
