Does anybody know about a change object for symbols (vanilla) ?

I don't think there is one, but you can easily make one using "select". Give it a dummy symbol in the creation argument so that the right inlet will accept a symbol.

putting the [t s s] on the right outlet of select would keep that one redundant event from happening, if it matters.
