How can I set this up if possible? I just don't have a working midi controller at the moment. Thanks in advance.

You can use the [key] and [keyname] objects to read keystrokes and in combination with [sel] convert them to midinote values.

or you can use keykontrol.pd from slurs crap
it gives you more than 80 keys to play with (no gui tho)

but if you don't have a german qwertz you have to modify it for your own layout
but that is really easy... so please ask if you don't get how and share your layout so others can profit too
