Hi everyone,
I know this keeps oming up, or has done a few times - so apologies. I searched for te answer but couldn't find it for 0.51.4
i used to use maxlib/scale as a scale obejct (similar to maxmsp scale), but now that's not woking or available since upgrading to pd 0.51.4 -

Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction to replace or re-install a scale object for pd 0.51.4?

If [scale] maps a range of values to another range, then this is possible with vanilla objects too. Check the [map] vanilla abstraction from https://github.com/alexdrymonitis/miscellaneous_abstractions that does this.

[else/rescale] works for latest Pds and has more features than the maxlib scale object

(by the way, we're at 0.55-1 test release right now, 0.51-4 is pretty old already)
