i possibly didn't do enough research on this and maybe i also searched for the wrong terms.
trying to create a sawtooth wave with random "tooth sizes" (as seen in the lower left graph below).

the solution i came up with for now does work - but it seems a bit complicated. so i was wondering if people here might have a simpler approach for creating this kind of phasor~ with random phase reset!

@ben.wes I can't think of a simpler way unless you were willing to have the randomness in control domain, which I doubt. The only other things I would do is to add a [wrap~] after [rpole~] in case your random impulse generator waits more than 1 period, and maybe do something like the following to make the pulse density adjustable:

As you assumed, i avoided control domain here since i wanted to include intervals shorter than blocksize (my first attempt was with a random metro setting a phasor~ phase to 0).
