Is it possible to add commas to a text file with either [text] or [textfile]?

@bananaplug I don't think so.
A comma is interpreted in Pd in the same manner as many other programs....... meaning "new message".
So when you put it within a message it breaks the message into two parts.

I suppose without knowing why the OP needs a comma it is hard to know.

It can be used for generating poems, for example.
