Hi all,

So, puredata-extended has been working fine on my laptop (Macbook running OSX 10.9.5) since forever. But today I've ran into a problem. Suddenly, puredata decided to deselect both of the audio ports (jack and audioport). When I try to select audioport, PureData crashes.

I've done the usual thing of deleting the preferences files. But no dice.

The annoying thing is, I need this to work for a performance I'm doing tonight. Can anyone help? I need this to get fixed urgently and I am out of ideas.

What about vanilla? Once it works you could start installing externals..

@Johnny-Mauser yeap, this is a fair point. But I don't have time to port all the externals in the space of a few hours. I'd much rather get what I have working for now.

@me-andmymonkey Check nothing has changed in your OSX Audio settings.
Note the settings you had in Pd before..... then open this patch, save the Pd audio settings and close Pd..... and then open your patch and try to put your settings again.......

And if no luck hard reboot your computer to make sure the "audioport" is functioning.
