    As a mac user, I don't recommend to use Pd extended. It's buggy as hell...
    I'm on OS X 10.9.5 and Pd 0.46-4 is working well. Try the two versions 32 and 64 bit from here : http://msp.ucsd.edu/software.html

    Hope this helps.

    I gave up Pd. I went back to Max...

    Nobody knows when Pd-extended will come. If it only comes...

    And Pd vanilla is too often limited...

    ...and I don't have to take my sunglasses to work with Max ;)

    @What said:

    I read an interview saying he uses Max/MSP live a lot, but sometimes it's easier to just write dedicated software.

    Any link for this interview ?

    Direct interviews from him are rather difficult to find.

    Thanks in advance

    I have the same problem.

    So far,I had successfully done the "set canvas_fill grey" trick with Pd extended 0.43 but I can't do the same with Pd vanilla 0.45.

    Pd-extended, for whatever reason, is not really usable and crashes every time I connect an MPD32. That's why I need Pd vanilla.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
