What surprise me, is that when draging the slider in the Automation panel section within Plugdata the DAW receives de automation data but, whem moving the correponding knob within plugdata, even iseeing that the slider in the Automation panel is moving accordingly, the DAW does nor receive the information.

I have been using the param and dawstorage objects, and it is working very well when I write automation with the pencil in Logic, but I usually record automation by moving the faders or the knobs of my plugins. When I try to do it with Plug data, I can see that the automation parameters are updated within Plug data in the Open Automation Panel section, but Logic is not receiving the sliders' movement.
Can someone please help me with this issue?.
Thanks! -

posted in patch~ • read moreHi all! I have tried the search function in the forum to see if there is a post about Unison. What do you think is the simplest way to implement unison mode with an additional knob to increase the spread of the additional voices from mono to full stereo? I am thinking of trying to implement something similar to what Retrosynth has: a number of voices selector, a voice detune and a stereo spread.

I have tried the @jameslo patch and it is working fine. What is the problem that you find? -

posted in patch~ • read more@jameslo Yes, I have just checked it with a phasor, an inverted phasor, and different exponential values. Thanks a lot!. Now I understand why just multiplying a vline (between 0 and 1) by itself is a possible solution. It creates a convex shape upwards and a concave shape downwards.

Just some questions. Is the stage attack convex? And the decay and release times are concave?. I see that you use the power function with a value of 2 for the attack, 0.4 for the decay, and 4 for the release. I need to remember my maths to see the difference between a positive and a negative exponential. -

The only problem is that is linear, and I would like to implement something similar to yiur solution with slope but now I am confused about how slop works so I need to try to unterstand hiw it works during this weeks.
And you are right, to develope the ADSR with vline was complicated foir me. I spent several hours, -
