Hi there,
here's another problem i can't handle...
I receive a stream of int numbers (from one to five), and i want to trigger some actions.
Problem is that my numbers keep coming, but i want to trigger only when the values change.
For example whne i receive number 4 i want to play a sound. But as the stream of data doesn't stop i get this result every millisecond.
I know this is really a newbie question. There surely is a simple method for this, maybe an object like spigot...
Is there a good documentation, a list of every object in the pd-help?

Hello,
i want to scale a stream of incoming values from a specific boundary range to another range.
So the numbers that arrive are from 0 to 1, i want to specifie a boundary from 0.2 to 0.7 and obtain values from 0 to 1 again.
It seems to me, that the object "scale" would be perfect, but it seem to work only with a gemlist.
Is there a better object for this?

Hello,
can someone tell me a elegant way to summate 6 different numbers?
if i use the + i get a suitable result with 2 numbers, using trigger. But how does it work with more than two numbers?

hello everyone,
i'm new to pd so i hope you find my question not to boring...
i would like to write a patch and use the computer-mouse as sensor.
With the mouse i want to measure the speed of a spinning disc.
Using MouseState doesn't help because the counting stops at the end of the monitor, right?
Or is there a way to reposition the mouse? Or maybe another function thats even more suitable?regards, christopher
