i'm new to pd so i hope you find my question not to boring...
i would like to write a patch and use the computer-mouse as sensor.
With the mouse i want to measure the speed of a spinning disc.
Using MouseState doesn't help because the counting stops at the end of the monitor, right?
Or is there a way to reposition the mouse? Or maybe another function thats even more suitable?

You want the [hid] object, which works on GNU/Linux and Mac OS X 10.6 or older (not 10.7 or 10.8 unfortunately).

Well, I'm on 10.8 and [hid] works just fine..
