Is there any possibility to transcribe a pd-patch into an app for small modern computer devices that can connect to studio gear as a remote control?

Personally, I would just buy this......... (rather than inventing the wheel.... again)..........

which will send and receive osc, midi, and text, and already has reasonably pretty graphics....
You might find that some of your software already provides free templates for TouchOSC, but it is not difficult to build your own custom remotes. With a small Pd patch running on your computer you can direct traffic to/from TouchOSC to each of your programs an control them all at once!
