When I use freeverb my cpu load rises dramatically (by 30 - 40%). It only happens a few minutes after I create the object. Has anyone experienced the same thing? I use PD Vanilla 0.45.4 on osx.

It is known that freeverb~ as a little bug when no signal comes at all to its inelt~. You can try to feed it with a (almost) inaudible sound like a noise~ * 0.0000001 and see if it's ok.

Also there is a freeverb abstraction , and it's vanilla compatible somewhere...
