Here's another undocumented dynamic patching trick!

You can change parameters of a number or symbol atom using a "param" message:

The syntax works like this:

[param <width> <lower-limit> <upper-limit> <label> <position> <receive-label> <send-label>l(

cool, but it's crashin pd-extended 0.43.4 on windows.

Are you sure you're getting the syntax right? I had it crash once when I got the messages in the wrong order.

Also, you can use a dash "-" for a blank label / send / receive message.

If it's still crashing, maybe [tof/param] should be blame (not sure if namespaces are clashing in this case).

Working all right here with extended 0.43-4 / ubuntu 15.05-64

Strange that it's crashing in Windows though. Perhaps this is why it's undocumented? Can other Windows users give it a shot?

Interestingly I added send & receive labels to the numberbox then sent new labels wirelessly and the existing labels were deleted, didn't crash and the cord connectors came back
