Hey there fellas,

since i got such quick help the last time i had an issue i thought i would try it again!

This time i'm connecting PD via OSC to Reaper (Reaper Settings are fine, i can receive data there) to hit the play/pause buttons in my DAW.
This works fine, but the problem is, that once i connect pd to Reaper, the latter stops playing audio (even the transients in the Waveform-Audio are gone). Once i disconnect everything is fine again.

Hope some one has a solution to this! Best regards

Well... the "send" part is ignored by packOSC. So the message that you have sent is "/play"
If reaper is in learn mode then it might take that message, but....

If you are using the defaut osc config http://osc-commander.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/OSC-Commander.reaperosc

then you should be sending /play 1
(that is /play<<space>>1)
as play is expecting a binary value, and you don't need the "send" which has been ignored anyway.
the default.config is a bit bizarre as it has stop pause and rewind (to a position)... sometimes toggles, sometimes binary...... you need to read it! (and understand it, which is harder...do post again if....)

Anyway... I am pretty sure that when the "audio disappears" Reaper is just sitting waiting for the correct message!

I've read the config and i think i now understand it.
But the /play 1 doesn't fix the problem. It's playing but no audio is played.

Vor everyone interested:

the problem was solved by turning off the function in Reaper, that sets all audio offline when you're not in the DAW Window (Pref->Media)...
Sooo frustrating
