Hello forum. I am having a total brain fart today.

I need help creating a master toggle. Basically I have an abstraction that has a toggle in it. I will have multiple copies of this abstraction in my patch. When I select this toggle, I need to unselect all other toggles in the other abstractions. That way, only the toggle that is currently selected will be active.

Another way to think about this is a "solo" button on a mixing console. However, although in a mixing console you can solo multiple tracks to solo (while muting the rest), I only want to have ONE toggle selected at all times.

There's probably a really easy solution but I am just brain dead right now. Kudos to the person who can come up with the most elegant solution!

What about something like this? You need to manually write the ID of the abstraction though:

I am getting increasingly fed up with "0".... series should start with "1". I find that the most useful tool in my box is [sel 0].
Anyway... grrrr!.... here is a solution. It is a problem that I come across all of the time.... is this message "for me" or not....

The solution is to "tag" the message... and then refuse to receive a message that this abstraction has sent. You might be able to "tidy" it a bit. As I mentioned above, usually I am waiting for a message that is "tagged" "FOR" the abstraction, and there I would use [invert] before the spigot.
