Hi, if I open up a [pd file] inside a script, (I use multiple screens), most of the time the file -script will open up and be deposited way out "there" (i.e., if I'm on screen#1 and open up a script, and open up an abstraction inside the script, the script will be placed on screen#1 but about "3 screen widths" to the right. so then I go to Mission Control on OSX and try to move the "hidden window" to a second monitor, sometimes it works, sometimes not, then I try to move it to the 3rd monitor, maybe it'll show, maybe it won't.
It seems that the location of the main parent window has a great deal of an effect on where the script will load into.
Now, I can (well, grr, not really) survive through this, but now I'm sharing scripts with two guys, one who has a single monitor and another who has 2, and they don't really have the time to mess around with window location.
so is there some way I can force PD-Extended (PD Vanilla does the same, btw) to show the sub-windows right on top of the parent window instead of them jumping all over the place?
Very very hopefully yours.. This has been the most major GUI / usability issue I've had for the past 3 months now..
