I have been working on some patches/scenes for RjDj, but have found it a bit clunky so far. I've no idea about the architecture of the app, but generally it seems to be fine once a scene is open and in action, however, getting there is often crashy and hanging - would be nice if there was a 'light', player or runtime version that let you access your scene library without any of the connectivity or recording features?

The can of beats scene is a bunch of drum samples that are played back in different patterns based on probabilities. Shaking the device will make a new pattern.

The scene was made by Chris McCormick (who is also working on running Pure Data on Android devices http://mccormick.cx/projects/PdDroidParty/) I'm sure if you contact him he'll be happy to provide more info.
