once netpd starts up without spewing out errors in the console then follow the instructions on the site and explore all the instruments (start with a mixer and a master object to be able to sync and hear everything)

@beem Now you can just drop netpd into documents/pd or wherever and it should be 'plug and play'-ish...

I think it's all mrpeach, I have installed it using deken, but still not luck. I can edit the object to add [mrpeach/...] but will try to find a better solution later.

Interesting, but I did not try it yet. Is it in comparison to jamtaba that the patch / tempo / settings are shared and not the audio?

@Jona It is a collection of pd instruments, sequencers and effects that are synchronised/mirrored across the remote machines. It is possible to stream live audio within it as well with the 'evil' instrument.

a few people who have joined Netpd sessions have asked about how to adapt their patches to work within the system...
according to the git page:

• Create your own instrument by typing '/new mysupersynth' into
  unpatch's symbol box. A new instrument named 'mysupersynth'
  shows up in unpatch's instrument list. Edit mysupersynth.pd and
  save it. You might want to check existing instruments to get an
  idea of how to cook your own instrument. There will be section
  about this topic on http://www.netpd.org/docs .
  NOTE: instruments belong to netpd/instruments, their abstractions to
  netpd/instruments/abs.
