Apologies if this has already been answered, but I have found I can move the position of a toggle by using

;
/receive_symbol/toggle pos $1 $2

in a message box, but unfortunately if I set a receive symbol to something similar in a number box, the debugger just says object not found. I assume it is possible to move the position of number boxes (and other objects) but I cannot figure this out myself.

Any help massively appreciated thanks!!

@RT5000 You will need to use a "Number 2" box from the put menu..... which is a GUI.... whereas a simple "number" box is not.

@RT5000 [iemguts/canvasobjectposition]. The iemguts library has a selection of objects for manipulating patches/objects.

Thanks very much for the replies, both really helpful! I hadn't realised the distinction between GUI objects until now, but makes sense! Finding more and more uses for pd everyday, love this software!
