Hi,

I have installed osx High Sierra on a new (but old) Mac. To my surprise I can not connect to the usb serial port.

 comport $1 57600
... couldn't create
[arduino]: version 0.6beta

I recall not doing anything else than installing Arduino and then all I needed in Vanilla was [arduino] and [arduino-help] in the project folder. On Linux I had to install a serial driver.

So far I have tried:
Putting all files from the Master in the project folder.
Installing Pdunio from Deken.

PurrData and Pd extended recognize the port and works.

What am I missing?

Hi,

You need the comport external.
Type "comport" in the help -> find external, and install it. Restart your patch it should work.
