working a lot with soundfiles in pd lately, i got really annoyed with the behavior of [openpanel].
Each instance of openpanel will always direct you to the last directory you opened with any openpanel object in the same instance of pd. This leads to a lot of navigating through directories.. and that's annoying.
So here comes [mopenpanel]: mopenpanel-fix2.zip
Mopenpanel will open the directory of the parent patch when opened the first time. Further, it will remember the directory you navigated to. And it will still remember this directory once you saved the patch and open it again. (needs Pd-0.49) So... this will increase your Pd-WORKFLOW! And will leave you without any excuses to not be musically creative using Pd.

the patch i uploaded was a bit buggy, you should download it again.
@weightless yes [savestate] is a great new feature since 0.49. I haven't seen many patches using it yet though

[savestate] looks like a nice addition, I had a quick look and it seems more basic than I hoped but at least gives us something to work with.
