Hi all,

I'm a beginner learning how to use PD. I have both the standard version of PD and PD-Extended downloaded onto my computer. I have been making patches in the standard version of PD and saving them just as regular .PD files. For some reason, every time I go to open the files in my finder, they open in PD-Extended instead of the standard version of PD. Any tips on making these files open in the correct application?

@b4cat Exactly how you do that will depend on your operating system.
You should "google" "file association + osx / windows / ?" and it should be quite easy to fix.
You will need to associate the (dot)pd file extension with the executable in the Pd/bin folder for your standard version..
In windows that will be pd.exe.
