I'm using Pd 0.49.1 Vanilla on Macbook Air running macOS Sierra 10.12.3 and it happens quite often that Pd quits when I try to save patches or open. I tried to reinstalling Pd several times but I really don't know where might be a problem. Anybody also experienced that? Any help? Please

Is it only some patches, or all?
Were you ok with a previous version of Pd?
Were the patches built with a different version of Pd?
Does Pd actually quit completely or is it still open in the dock?

This is the only one version I had installed and PD quits with some patches but all of them were made on same version of PD. And yes PD quit completely so I have to re-open the application to work.

I don't use OSX.... so I cannot test. Someone else will post some help though I am sure.

and helps with a problem that has been known for a while....... to do with the computer "hosts" file.
If there are any white spaces in the path-name to where Pd has been installed that can cause such problems as well.

same for me on 0.49, was on 0.48 also, not related filename space, only crashes on "save as" tho so its annoying but not fatal (it does save before crashing)
