In vanilla, I create a simple [pd myabstraction test] , also tried with [myabstraction test] in a separate file

inside it, I have

[O]
|
[pack $1]
|
[print]

instead of printing "test", it prints 9 when I click on the bang

anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong ?
i this a known bug ?

ok I found it,

[symbol $1]
|
[pack s]

dont know why it did not work at first

You don't even need the [pack s] there, [symbol $1] on its own should do it.
