Is there a node process running that is polling constantly?

@boonier Yep the forum is "realtime" but not sure if it is a pulling methong or a websocket. Sorry to hear that, I am afraid I can't do much. I wanted to update the forum, but don't have the time.

@artelse @EEight What OS and what Browser?
I had this in the past when I had uploaded a file to the forum, and often the hook to windows search was uploading the wrong file..... but it has been stable for a long time now (0% cpu).
I have tried IE11 and Firefox under Win7 without problems.
Try disabling all browser add-ons first?

Firefox on Linux Mint. Disabling blockers like uBlock and Privacy Badger makes no difference.
