@Ale-H.H. Yup!........... does "ITS" timbre mean something special? (the ITS bit)......
-
Permutations, second part, can anybody get this patch to work?
-
it just means that curve 4 controls curves 3 morphing timbre
-
@whale-av something is missing here, here is a picture...
the volumes of the 8 sine waves didnt move, arent they supposed to be labeled for them to be recognized? and also where does it say that for example volume of sine wave 1 has to change to lets say 25 percent volume? -
@whale-av 8 sine waves and 4 volume percentages: ( 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%)
-
@whale-av i think that the 4 volume sliders at the top dont need to be there...
-
@Ale-H.H. If you click an error message, and then press enter....... does it highlight the object that is sending the error?
Try this...... maybe222.zip and lets see what the messages are..........The 4 sliders at the top control the values of a b c d........ if you change the test value at the top of the patch (click-drag) you will see your sliders moving, and the aaaa aaab etc combination in the terminal.

@whale-av
Im sorry but I clicked the erros message, then enter and it didnt show the error, i changed the test value and the sliders didnt move, but i think were almost there -
@Ale-H.H. The errors are thrown by [* 255 I think, because the 3 or 4 is followed by an empty symbol ""
...... and the message had not been unpacked......Which bit of that curve data do you want to use?
Connect to the bit you want from the [unpack] that I have added...... I have assumed the second float, as for the note.
maybe23.zip
David. -
@whale-av yeah its connected right, but still no morphing or moving of the sliders hmmm, do you have to multiply times 255?
-
@Ale-H.H. Sorry, I don't understand...... is the zip unzipped?....... that is all I can think of.
Here the same again, with a couple of tests and checks.......maybe24.zip
David. -
@whale-av yeah , the test worked for pitch, and for timbre, when the curve for timbre moved up the slider of "timbre" moved up, but there was actually no morphing timbre, the sliders of the sine waves didnt move, im trying to think why they wont move...
-
@whale-av what would i need to do if I wanted more sine waves or less, and wanted different volume percentages for each? i would go to"option1" and where it says list I would add or substract the letters i need and below i would put the length of the list right (or the amount of sine waves)? is this part connected to the sine waves in 1_vod_2?
-
@whale-av the volumes of the sine waves arent receiving any info on where to move, this part is controlled where? or where are they linked?
-
@Ale-H.H. I had you confused with another thread....... using extended....... and you must have vanilla with mrpeach added........ the mrpeach fooled me too!
This will work........definitely.zip
David. -
I have extended!
-
@Ale-H.H. A difference between windows and osx then...... are there any objects showing as "not created" in definitely.zip?
-
@whale-av error: option 1 7 1 23 1 (trigger -route) connection failed
-
@whale-av no, now it just says this on the console : option1 7 1 23 1 (trigger->) connection
-
@whale-av it worked on your computer? the sliders moved?
-
@whale-av I guarantee were pretty close to finishing, the mistake must be pretty small
