I made a simple pd patch for crossfading songs. One click, change the song to the next. Unfortunately, while clicking sometimes I hear additional cracking. I don't know where the problem is.

@Inter It could be so many things.....
You should definitely keep the [playvol] window closed.... any screen re-draws can cause such problems, and so the slider is a prime suspect. You can try adjusting your audio settings for Pd........ relaxing the latency setting (delay-ms) by increasing the value.
It is always worth "tuning" your computer for audio......
