Hi Guys
So i made a project back in 2012 using a version of pure data that i really dont remember. So i am trying to get back but i saw that a lot of things that i used in the " old" Gem build are not working anymore, and also some of the examples in the Gem available today also are not working. So either i didnt really got it right or it got in fact really diferent from before. So any help with a very easy tutorial on how to get all of that back together would be awesome. I have PD 0.47 running on OSX 10.9.5. Thanks

@hmvassalo Hello, the quickest way will be to download "extended" 0.43.4 here........
http://puredata.info/downloads/pd-extended
It is most likely the version that you were using in 2012 with the same Gem. Most likely the "intel" version. Your patch should then run as before.Under windows 2 different versions of Pd can easily be running at the same time, and kept well away from each other as they have a self-contained version of "wish". I don't know how easy that is on a Mac......
Maybe the old Osx extended also had a self-contained "wish" app, in which case you could just run it in a folder on your desktop.
Someone else should be able to help with more knowledge about that......I have had some success, but not enough, with the old Gem 0.93 and Pd 0.47 in windows..... you could be lucky.
Some of the old ones are here........ https://sourceforge.net/p/pd-gem/gem/ci/master/tree/

@whale-av, I've found that multiple instances of PD are best handled in macOS by creating an .app file of a patch using the File -> Make app from folder... command. It then runs as a separate process (and maybe defaults to a different cpu core?).
