Hi,
I am completely new to PD but have been learning using tutorials.

I need help with a few steps. I am going to equip my bike with a sensor unit using a Particle Electron with a SIM card.

I want to take that data and run it through a PD patch and take the resulting sound and create an online livestream.

I would appreciate help on getting the basic framework to make this happen.

You will need (obviously) to send the data to a port on your computer (open in your router firewall) that you can listen to with the object [netreceive] set to "udp" (or if you are using "extended" then [udpreceive]).
Then use the incoming data to control the audio you wish to stream.
Then stream..... http://bitsynthesis.com/2010/05/pure-data-radio-how-to-stream-mp3-audio-for-free/ might give you more information about the streaming......
