Is there a patch that can easily help with cleaning up audio clicks in soundfiles?

What do you mean by audio clicks? I mean, when do these clicks occur? And why?

I am working on a piece that uses live recordings. Occasionally a click occurs due to an I/O error to my Mbox. These recordings come back in performance and the I/O click is present. I can go into ProTools and fix the audio files, but I was hoping that there might be a way to "fix" errors in aif files with a patch in PD directly.

Is that enough of an explanation?

Maybe zexy's [limiter~] is what you need? It has this "CRACK" feature that should be doing what you want. Never used it like this though..
