Hey folks! I've updated to 0.43 (vanilla) and i really like it, but it's so slow in UI that I can't use it. It's just impossible to control it in realtime anymore.

Maybe you know what might be the problem? I'm on Debian i386 unstable.

    Hey guys,

Have you seen this: http://www.ted.com/talks/onyx_ashanti_this_is_beatjazz.html ?

Newer expected to see PureData on TED, it's a feast!

P.S. Also read the authors comment, he's explaining things there.

    Hello,

I can't figure out how to do the following:

    • when, say, abstraction gets note C4, output only noteon
    • when it gets note G4, do the same
    • when C4/G4 is arriving again, output only noteoff

That way I will be able to input a chord by hitting keys on midi keyboard, and then "edit" it live by "toggling" them.

Maybe you have some ideas or have done something similar before...

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello again,

I've just tested the Pd-extended 0.42.5 and it's also slow as 0.43 vanilla... I thought maybe I could find some compile-time switches for font rendering or so which might help, but didn't find anything. Does anybody has similar experience/ideas how to fix it? Thanks.
