    Hi,
I'm trying to read spectogram jpgs and convert them back into audio, but I can't work out how to do it. I've tried using pix_data and pix_pix2sig~ but I cant get anything to work.#

at the moment Im reading each column of pixels in the image, but this is incredibly slow, and I ant work out how to convert the resulting list into audio.

Is there a proper way to do this please?

    Thanks very much.

    Hi,
I''ve been trying to work out how to read a column of image pixels in PD and then convert the greyscale values to the frequency parts of a spectogram. I've got as far as loading an image, and using pix_data to read the pixel values, but I have no idea and cant find a way to convert these into some form of spectogram that PD can read and play back as audio.

I'm also using a line to read each pixel value individually, which is slow. Is there a better way?

    Thanks

When using an xbox controller with [hidin] it works for a while, but then crashes pure data, which closes without warning. It seems to happen when multiple buttons are pressed on the controller at once, though sometimes all buttons can be pressed and it still works fine.
Is there any fix to this? I really need it to work...
    Thanks!

@alexandros Thanks, But unfortunately for my work it needs to use Pd-extended objects only. It does seem to be what I'm after though..., Do you have any other suggestions?

    Hi all,
I have some data that I have written into an array via [array read textFile.txt(.
This works fine, but is there a way of zooming in on the data along the x-axis? I was thinking along the lines of changing the array size, or only showing data items between two points on the x-axis...

    Thanks loads,
    Tommy
