Trying to compile this on Mac in Pure Data 50 but I get errors. Do I need to update the makefile?

@whale-av Thanks! actually the patch I am working on is also based on pd synthesis in helmholtz. I tried tricks all day but the results are not really satisfying. I am quite new to Pure Data......What I want to do is to convert the continuous pitch output of Helmholtz~ to discrete midi note and velocity (as the output of notein). I am finding this task quite difficult, I feel like I am missing something.
Using ftom and int I get the midi note and using env~ with one mathematical expression I get the velocity scaled 1-127 but everything is a continuous stream. I want to isolate different notes. Does anybody has suggestions?
