Hello PD forum folk, I recently took my first step into PD for procedural audio after some time with Max/MSP. I have put together a demo project, using GEM to load static images as a storyboard, that is working well.

However, when I try to create an app to distribute my project for critique, the images no longer appear and the GEM area is just black. I have tried both making the app from patch and from folder in various locations on my drive, to no avail.

If there is someone who perhaps knows why this is I would be very grateful for their advice.

Hi, I think I will go with bundling pd extended in with it, unfortunately nothing I have tried has worked. Thanks very much for your advice though, it is appreciated.

I am including them in the same folder as the patch, which, as far as I can tell from the GEM documentation, means I do not have to specify the path. I may be wrong.

They work fine in the patch, but not the app created from it, even if that is in the same folder.
