This is probably more of a "why" question then a "how", but, what are the benefits/drawbacks of using a phasor~ based clock over a metro? I've been digging through patches lately, trying to absorb as much as I can, an I'm noticing more phasor~'s being used as clock sources.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I didn't come up with much when searchg the forums.

I just got a Korg NanoKontrol usb controller and built an abstraction to make it easy to drop into a patch, so I thought I'd share it.

I've been playing around with pd on and off for a while now, but have finally committed to learning it and using it more, if not exclusively.

Anyway, I'd love to get feedback on the construction. I applied many of the same techniques to building the patch that I use in my day-to-day work as a developer (refactoring, abstraction, etc.).

Wow, very nice! I would love to see the patch for that. That sounds very much like what I'm working towards being able to produce with pd.
