so, ideally this patch would be able to play an audio file and have me change the temperament in real time.

That is a tall order, I understand. I am new to this and don't have much time.

If I could take midi input and change the temperament, I would be very very pleased. I don't need to modify it in real time, but that would be a plus.

Is there a patch or an object that I should begin with? Is there a simple way?

hey there y'all.

I have a show on Tuesday and I'm struggling to get this patch working!

It's just four oscillators, set to run randomly, within parameters set by my midi controller.

there's a metronome in there., but I don't think it's causing the trouble. but what do I know, I'm a n00b. and I wrote this patch when I was even a n00ber.

There's this digital artifact. A rhythm that never changes, but changes intensity depending upon the volume of the patch and the pitch of the tones. The rhythm increases when the pitch is lower. I made a recording of it using my h4, but I'm having trouble attaching it, so I'm just attaching the patch for right now, I'll try and upload the sound somewhere.

This didn't happen when I ran the patch normally, but I decided to run it out of the third output of my focusrite saffire so that I can isolate the signal from the other patches I'll have running.

Help?!

Another thing...

The sound decreases when I hit a contact mic that's plugged into my mixer, but if I mute the contact mic's channel, or unplug it, the sound remains unchanged. What the darn?!

Hey y'all!

Help me out here?

I'm trying to grab the number that the aftertouch is at at a given interval of time.

Unfortunately, metro against spigot is letting in more than one number. It seems that if I hook up a toggle to the output of metro, the toggle opens the spigot for a length of time that is proportionate (feels like 1/5ish?) to the time that the metro is operating at.

Upon realizing this, I set up a bang and delay to manually open and close the spigot (shown in attachment).

Apparently, this system disables anything but a changing number from moving through the spigot. Consequently, if I am not touching the aftertouch, it does NOT output zero, as it should. Relatedly, if I have the aftertouch fully engaged at 127, it does NOT output 127.

I'm sure there's a better way to do this.
