@whale-av Hey David, thanks for the reply. I have looked into the t b f object for other stuff a bit and all I can figure out is that it stands for trigger bang float. Could you possibly clarify what that object does?

My patch is above. I get the error "$1: argument out of range".
I assume this is because I am sending a bang into a message with an abstraction, but I am unable to figure out how to bang the message boxes to control the line function while still being able to control the a/d times.

I have tried looking into the pack object, but I can't figure out how to bang it.

@Oscillcreate Nevermind, I found the fix. I was having a stack overflow error due to me running the number output back into the slider input. Deleted that connection and now all is well. Only issue is the number can not be changed with the slider moving along with it now. Any advice on this?

Im very new to Pure Data so keep answers super simple.

Quick rundown of my intended patch. Trying to make a sequencer subpatch. The first inlet sends in a counting number as a clock, second inlet sends in the amount of beats (modulus). Then the sliders and number set the pitch, and the toggles set the gates/bangs. The horizontal slider is just for decoration. So, bang the pitch slider on every bang from the toggle, it sends to a number, which sends to mtof and then into the first outlet. The second outlet sends out the bangs which are turned on/off by the toggle. The video shows my issues. How can I get this to work?

Also, any advice on making the patch tidier?
