I managed to install it in my 1st G iPod under iPodLinux.

Whenever I move the mouse over a patch I get a crackle. I'm on a TiBook G4 550 with 1 GB ram and on Mac OSX.3.9, PD 0.38-3.
What could be wrong?

Go to PD's Preferences and create a New Path.
The new path should point to the folder where you keep the freeframe plugins.
This folder can be anywhere in your hard disk.
Worked for me in Mac OS X.4.11 ( ;

the best version i found until now was pd-0.39.2-extended-test1. only pdp isnt working!

Same problem here; went through all the procedures but still not working; neither on the G4 nor on the Intel Mac.
Was kind of hoping to find some answers here but... well, I'll have to wait like everybody else.

I'm having no problems so far with Pd-0.39.2-extended-test4 on my MacBook Pro.
GEM is working fine too.

That is tipical! I have an external sound card and the Audio preferences keep assuming by default that the built in audio is "the one". Latency values are by default 50 ms and I have to correct it everytime I open PD.
I'm sure something could be made!

Problem solved! It was all due to a low latency setting.

I've managed to do it by typing the above lines in a message box and connecting it to the gemwin object.
