Personnally, I send a false clock via a control change.
It does'nt solve all the problems but helps sometimes...

the fft~ stuffz uses it a lot, you have many objects as pol2cart~, cart2pol~ it may be in the iemlib'z...

Make a copy of the .pdv file, edit it in a text editor. Just replace the fields you need to and save it as: <name_of_your_patch>.pdv.
It should work...
