    Hi all,

I'm really a beginner when it comes to PureData but have been playing around with some things in the last few years.

As a turntablist I've always been interested in modding and improving my hardware, and I've now actually gotten something concrete, with software help of PureData.

The idea is to have midi+note control with a x-fader in a mixer, by moving it vertically. First I needed to mod my turntable to receive midi in, to change pitch along a notescale. Second was to hack a USB controller so I could attach a fader which attached to a rail, to measure vertical movement. I'm using Puredata to read the HID values of the controller, and am translating those into midi notes.

Here's a video explaining what it can do:

One thing I was wondering is 'how' I can share this with other people, who wouldn't necessarily be using PD. Is there a way I could compile it into an app or something?

In any case, hope you like the vid.

    Cheers,

    Machiel
