Did you try vanilla? It's very easy to install externals through Tools -> Find externals (or Help -> Find externals on older Pd versions). You can install it with apt-get or compile from source (which is an easy process). It's more likely to work, I guess.
Thanks. No, I can give that a try. Would I have to uninstall Purr-data first?
I think I use a few non-vanilla libraries, but I guess I can quickly identify them.

posted in technical issues • read moreHi, I am very rusty with Pd and trying to get something to work that was working a few years ago, but I am having to rebuild it.
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4+ with original RPi 7 inch touch screen
OS: 'Bookworm' 32 bit ('Raspbian 12')
Running latest version of purr-data downloaded from Open Build Service for this OS.
I want sound through the headphone socket.Without running any patches I get error 'error: audio I/O stuck... closing audio'
Under preferences I have ALSA API and select headphone output.
I'm stuck!
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
