how can i sync up tabread4~ objects to start at the same time. I have managed to convert bpm to hz so that i can deal with loops in terms of tempo but I cannot get multiple tabreads to start reading from the start of the sample simultaniously. I do not have any externals appart from what came with the origingal bundle.

can someone help a guy out?

Ok so i have just installed pd on panther, everything is up and running.

I have been wanting to learn to program for audio for a while now but I must admit I know nothing. I think I understand the concept but I want to get started on building simple patches.

can anybody suggest a good tutorial to get me started?

basically something that can guide me step by step to create some sort of noise making device.

    Interesting.
I visited http://www.agnula.org/ for more info and I see that there are a few applications that come bundled, but pd is not one of them. What is the learning curve like for this OS. I have never used linux before so I'm expecting to be a little bit lost until I adapt to it. Apart from pure data I have absolutely no experience programing.

control click on the .app and select show package contents and try putting it in the extra folder. it worked for me for gem but it was a bit buggy.

i experience this problem rarely on panther, instead my computer just crashes completly. i suspect it is due to my dual processor and perhaps pd gets confused on where to send information to be processed, but i can't know for sure. the version of tck tl i use is the latest version that is linked from this site http://www.crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/software.html
