Here's a thing I made, not exclusively using Pd. I did some granular processing of a short vocal sample in Pd, recorded the output and then cut out bits of that which I liked, and processed those samples some more using granular synthesis. I then took what I recorded from that and did lots of meticulous arranging and mixing in my DAW. I think some of the stuff I used outside of Pd (within the DAW) were pitched delays, filters, compressors, and I reversed some samples.

    Hope you like it:

I was watching this cool video. Noticed they were using Pd! Thought I would share :-)

I know this is kind of a weird question, but...
Where's a good place to sell plug-ins/software? I tried ebay a couple times and it was unsuccessful. I'm not trying to advertise that I'm selling something, I've just got some stuff I want to get rid of/need the extra cash and haven't been able to find a decent place to sell them...

Some of the stuff I'm looking to get rid of right now include GRM Tools, sound toys, etc... it's all RTAS. If anyone keep help me out with a couple tips, that'd be great. I'm also trying to get rid of a G4 w/ Metasynth (I don't have any installation stuff for it, so once it's gone it's gone) installed on it...

    All the best!

    Forgot to mention MIT's OCW:

I use these if I have any issues I have questions on in my math classes in college, but don't have the instructor handy for questions:

Short of looking up things online, look up math text books that are an edition or two older than is currently being used (they're never any different in content, they just change the problems up) and learn from reading them and going through their exercises. Often, you can get these older texts for less than $5.

I did this a couple of years ago (I was digging through some hard drives). I did it using Pd extended, I don't have the patch anymore but it was very simple (possibly modified from someone else's creation). I was using Pro Tools 7 at the time and ran it all on Win XP. I think I used Soundhack's pitch delay and morph filter as well as a couple of things I did in Reaktor. Other than that, tons of manual chopping, arranging, and penciled automation.

Granular is awesome. I am pretty much obsessed!

This is awesome. I can't wait to hear it with the microtonal scales! x2 on what mod said.

I use ProTools, Soundhack, Reaktor, primarily... and learning Pd and Metasynth. I love everything I use, or I wouldn't use it! I used to use Ableton, Cubase, Nuendo, Audacity, and some other stuff... haven't played live in over a year and have since sold off all my hardware/analog stuff.
