    Hi all,

After about a year or so of inactivity in the wonderful world of PD, i recently found motivation to jump back on the digital horse (so to speak...).
But now when attempting to control the volume of a sine wave (going back to basics for troubleshooting purposes) with numberbox and a [*~] i get a crunchy/scratchy noise as i scroll the volume up/down. This also occurs using a [line] object to drive the number box.
The hardware i am using has remained the same since last i used PD, but i have updated to newer versions of PD.
Also, strangely, patches that i had previously created (that included similar functions), work perfectly, without the noise.

I have tried changing driver settings/switching between ASIO/MMIO, but to no avail.

    Anyone feeling helpful?

    p.s. I'm running windows XP

    p.p.s
here is an example of the patch i'm talking about:

    Sigh...

Why does it always have to be the simple answers...

    Thank you so much!

(though i still have memories of my previous method working.....or so i thought)
