It is a matter of simply adding necessary .c files along with the libpd build. No need to make else.

Unfortunate part is that it should be done for each external you want to use, It also has to call the external_setup() for each external from my code, in swift project it also has to be added to a bridging header like extern void external_setup(void);. Externals in my patch should be just external and not else/external, then it finds it and works perfectly well.

P.S. shame I didn't see any notification from here wouldn't have to spend 3 days figuring this

My result is a little better with make install CC="$(xcrun --sdk iphoneos --find clang) -isysroot $(xcrun --sdk iphoneos --show-sdk-path) -arch armv7 -arch armv7s -arch arm64" PLATFORM="arm64-apple-ios" objectsdir="$PROJECT_DIR/../iOS/generated/" extension=d_arm64, however it is still trying to find else/else/lb instead of simply else/lb

Hi, I'm trying to use pd-else with libpd on ios.

I'm makeing pd-else for PLATFORM=x86-64-apple-ios, copying over the output (objectsdir) to my bundle resources, building libpd with ADDITIONAL_LDFLAGS=-ldl, adding with the output to search path PdBase.add(toSearchPath: Bundle.main.resourcePath)

And indeed there're no such files in the output, there're some with _darwin but not with specific architecture. Also there's no else/else subdirectory

Could anyone give a hint?

Works perfectly fine with Swift. Just add a bridging header and include there headers of what you use from libpd
