i need a random sequence of numbers between 0 and 7 that has each of those integers in it - and is therefore 8 numbers long. shuffle does this but i'm trying to stay with just pd vanilla objects - in order to get it to work on android at some point.

any help would be appreciated x

here is a vanilla version of [urn] from zexy, which provides a series of sequences of random numbers that don't repeat (until the sequence restarts). unfortunately there is no "fraction" parameter as in shuffle.
