hello all

This might come as a stupid or uninformed/wrongly formulated question, but I cannot find clear information on this.
I m looking for a to simulate a A keystroke, and I would want my program to adapt to different computers/keyboards, how to do this? I want a way to use an accelerometer as input into minetest ....;

By "simulate" do you mean .......... tell the computer, or some other program on the computer....... that you have pressed "A" when you have not?
Or....... When you press "A" on your computer ....... something should happen in your Pd patch?

There are problems, as not all computers use the same code behind the scenes, and operating systems use different code, and many computers in the world do not have an "A" on the keyboard.

But there could be solutions.......

I finally managed using x11key how ever the installation was a bit complex I will document it.
