Helllo There!

I'm trying to create a small synth with several Oscillators (Sine, Saw, Noice) and a way to select them via my MIDI controller.
So far I got most stuff already working with the controller.
I now would like to use a radio button but I'm not sure what object to use to change from diferent inputs to 1 audio out. I tried mux~ without any success controlling it with a radio button. I'm sure there is something better that I do not know....

To formulate it a bit easier:

I'm looking for a way to select 1 out of several audio sources to pass to the dac~
Preferably with a radio button.

Probably a noob question.

And speaking of radio buttons:
I'd like to do the same with samples later. Select from 16 different samples to play back 1.

[mux~] should work just fine, are you sure you are using it properly? Please try this and see if you can change the frequencies with the radio buttons:

If your samples are saved as arrays and are being played back using [tabread~], then you can send a message [set <arrayname>( (with the proper array name of course) to [tabread~] and it will change to another array. You can then construct a patch like this:

And then send all these messages to [tabread~].

Now it works perfectly, sometimes pd help is really hard to understand.
Also I was confused, because in mux without ~ it works differently

On PD Extended, I've run into problems with the object [mux~] before, but not with [multiplex~]. They are supposed to be aliases for the same thing, but I think that there are two objects in the Extended libraries called [mux~], so PD sometimes gets confused and creates the wrong one. So I recommend creating the object [multiplex~] instead of [mux~] if you're using Extended.

@LiamG I second that. Same thing happens to me. pd=x 43.4 on OS 10.9

According to me as per my experience with the PD Extended the problem may be with the object [mux~] but not with [multiplex~].

Must try by creating the object [multiplex~] instead of [mux~] if you're using Extended.
